A Bee-autiful Manchester Wedding for Emma and Paul

WeddingsPosted by Emily Sat, September 09, 2017 02:00PM
Emma and Paul's wedding saw Bailey Wedding Film's first city wedding!

Emma got ready at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Manchester with her 12 bridesmaids, whilst Paul got ready in Oldham at his parent's house.

Speaking with Emma in the run up to the wedding, it was clear that she knew what she wanted for every aspect of every minor detail. This was obviously going to be a wedding to remember, not only for Emma and Paul, but for their friends, family and anyone involved!

Within the historic walls of Manchester Town Hall, the couple were wed surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony room was decorated with every aspect you could imagine, from a candlelit aisle, to a floral-clad archway which they were wed under. After the ceremony the couple had some gorgeous photos taken within the grounds with all their guests, by the brilliant Martyn Hand Photography.

Moving out of the city, the reception was held at Bowden Rugby Club, in The Marquee Room. The room was done up to the nines, every meticulous detail chosen and implemented by Emma herself, with a warm and cosy feel to every aspect.
Whilst the Afternoon Tea was being cleared away, the guests were surprised with a performance from Silver Service Singing Waiters, which had everyone up dancing, singing and congaing around the room! It was hard for anyone to sit still and not get up and join in!

Emma excelled in her planning once again, with a rodeo bull, bouncy castle, tipis for the children, a BBQ and pizza meal and sparklers and fireworks to top the night off!

Emma and Paul's wedding was quite simply, a showstopper.

Jamie and Holly's Beautiful North Yorkshire Wedding

WeddingsPosted by Emily Wed, September 06, 2017 05:39PM
On August 19th 2017 we shot the gorgeous Holly and Jamie's wedding in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Like being wed in Ripon Cathedral, with all their friends and family wasn't perfect enough, their photographer was Holly's dad and the couple were married by Holly's Grandfather, who in turn, Baptised Holly too, so this really was a family affair and all-round special occasion.

The couple met in York whilst Holly was studying at university. Jamie was working in his trade of nightlife promotion, and employed Holly as one of his ticket sellers... although she wasn't very good at it! Jamie obviously had a soft spot for Holly as he kept her on, and eventually, their relationship blossomed. Since graduating university, Holly has moved in with Jamie in his hometown of Haxey, near Doncaster, and teaches in Jamie's old primary school, making their lives together even more special.

Their North Yorkshire Wedding was a very personal and loving occasion. The reception was held at Tanfield House, a home combining Georgian and Victorian heritage, located next to the River Ure, for a picture-perfect setting. The couple's first steps into married life were spent dancing and laughing by the River Ure, whilst the sun shone down on their day, making it ever-more beauti
This really was a wedding dreams are made of, with the couple's own personal touch on everything, from personalised cake toppers, to Jamie's 'CAPITAN' sailors hat from his stag do! We wish the newlyweds, Mr and Mrs Benham, a long and happy life together.

A Gorgeous Scottish Wedding for Alex and Matt!

WeddingsPosted by Emily Wed, August 09, 2017 09:31PM
Last week we drove four hours up to Bathgate, Scotland, to shoot Alex and Matt's wedding at the beautiful venue, The Vu, Bathgate.

As you can guess from the name of the venue, The Vu, the view really was breathtaking! With a panoramic view of the surrounding Scottish countryside, this couple really did have the wedding people dream of.

Originally from Leeds, the couple moved up to Scotland for work purposes and ended up setting up their own business, which is going from strength to strength. Compromising with their friends and family who still reside in the Yorkshire area, the couple travelled four hours down from their home to wed one another in Bathgate. We were extremely lucky, avoiding the typical Scottish weather and only having beautiful sunshine until the end of the day! Then the heavens really opened, but luckily, everyone was inside enjoying the beautiful interiors of The Vu.

As well as getting York Wedding Videographers, the couple had Leeds Wedding Photographer, Martyn Hand Photography. Martyn captured some amazing photos of the couple and their special day, you can see some of them over on his blog.

It really was a truly magical day, watching the Leeds couple marry one another on what seemed to be the top of the world, with the panoramic views from the ceremony room at The Vu, Bathgate.

We wish Alex and Matt a lifetime of happiness and all the luck with their new lives in Scotland!

Charley and Dan's North Yorkshire Wedding

WeddingsPosted by Emily Fri, August 04, 2017 07:05PM
Last weekend we had the pleasure of filming Charley and Dan's gorgeous North Yorkshire wedding at Burn Hall in Huby, York.

Charley and Dan started out as good friends and since blossomed their friendship into a wonderful romance, resulting in Dan popping the question and the couple sharing this glorious day with all their friends and family. It was a very family focused day, with the couple sharing it with children, Lucas and Noah, and bringing their two families together. It was wonderful to see a groom and his bride giving out gifts to their groomsmen, bridesmaids and close family, as a thank you for being a part of their lives and their wedding day.

The weather was kind, and in the midst of all this rain we've been having, the sun shone down on their big day and warmed up all the guests, whilst enjoying drinks and canap├ęs on the terrace at Burn Hall.

This perfect day ended with the couple taking their first steps as man and wife... and the groom playing an intense game of beer pong!

Below you can find our highlights video for Charley and Dan's picture perfect wedding at Burn Hall, York.

I'm sure you'll all join us in wishing Charley and Dan a lifetime of happiness.

Beth and Tristan's Beautiful Aberford Wedding

WeddingsPosted by Emily Sun, June 25, 2017 01:33PM
Here at Bailey Wedding Films, we spent our May Bank Holiday capturing the beautiful wedding of Tristan and Bethany.

From a nostalgic preparation at the bride's home, to a wonderfully emotional ceremony in the couple's local church, and ending the day at the football club up the road, with all the guests wandering through the streets of this sleepy West Yorkshire village, a stones throw away from York and Leeds.

You can find the highlights video below.

The many personal aspects within the wedding really made Tristan and Bethany's day one of a kind, with traditional values, mixed with modern aspects. It was a honour getting to know this young couple and capturing memories that they can relive whenever they want to relish in the biggest day of their lives.

Below, you can find the full cinematic feature film of their day.
